donors the ability to research potential organizations, contribute
to selected organizations, and locate volunteer opportunities
online. You can review the organizations 990s, review
simplified financial and organizational information, see what
the needs of groups in your area are, and other informative

MinistryWatch is an online
searchable database containing research reports, financial information,
analyst comments, 5 star ratings and other organizational information
on more than 400 of the largest national parachurch ministries
in the United States. Collectively, the 400+ ministries in the
database receive annual donations of more than $6 billion, have
assets of greater than $6 billion, and reach out to an estimated
donor audience of more than 30 million Americans.

The American Institute of Philanthropy is a watchdog
group that rates 400 major US charities in 37 different categories.
Each detailed report is $3 but you can also find the top charities
in 36 different industry fields. They also provide tips to insure

The Evangelical Council for Financial
Accountability is made up of over 950 member organizations.
ECFA's purpose is to help Christ-centered evangelical nonprofit
organizations earn the public's trust through their ethical
practices and financial accountability. You can locate brief
information of those members in good standing with ECFA as well
as other information for donors to make wise giving decisions.

engines. They also have the ability to create a portal for the
nonprofit community to have greater selectivity in searches

provides information on some of the largest US charities. You
can also file a complaint about a particular charity and find
additional information to help donors make wise giving decisions.

The Charities Review Council

soliciting in the State of Minnesota. They also provide tips
